Welcome to OAUQ.org
Saturday, 12 June 2004

We are glad to inform you that Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Staff Quarters now has finally lunched its NEW website, where old and new friends can see each other and probably keep in touch.

When we tell folks living in bigger cities that we grew up or lived in O.A.U quarters, they normally pop up that question: "Wow, how could you live in that remote and boring town?" Well, you have to live in OAU quarters, to understand that it is nothing close to a remote town.  In fair honestly, if given the opportunity, they will come to realize that it isn’t a bad choice at all, probably even a better choice in whole lot of ways. OAU Quarters is easily one of the best places to grow up in Nigeria. Growing up or living there in the seventies through to the nineties was like being abroad.

No disrespect in any way to those outside of OAUq; everywhere could turn out good people, just expressing our joy and also staying true and faithful to the community. Quarters for life!!!.
